Steel Fabricators and Welders

The Role: Cutting, burning, shaping and welding mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a thriving company for an experienced Fabricator Welder for a contracted and temporary positions in Surrey. Excellent rates of pay!

The Candidate:

Your duties will involve fabricating, marking out, drilling and MIG welding on structural beams within the workshops. You will not be required to hold any current coding or tickets but it would be advantageous. If successful you will be given a paid trial day, where you will come in and work along side the workshop manager. Once he is satisfied you are suited to the role you will be offered a position within the team.

If you have experience in the heavy industrial field carrying out MIG and MMA fabricating this would also be advantageous. Also experience working on Staircases, Gates, Railings and Fencing would secure you as strong candidate.

The position of Fabricator Welder basic working hours will be 7.30am- 5pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available at a flat rate.

Structural and Architectural Steel Fitters

Salary:£10 - £15 per hour DOE

The Role:

• Installation of all steel items

• Travelling to various sites throughout UK, travel and accommodation paid

• Reading and working from architectural and engineering CAD drawings

• CSCS Card preferable

Fitters and installers required to join a Structural Steel engineering company based in Surrey. This job will involve installing steel projects for various commercial and residential clients in London and Surrey. This could be Structural beams, Staircases, Gates, Railings or Fencing. A diverse skill set is desirable, however training can be given to the right candidate.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will either be an experienced or trained fitter with proven experience of medium to thick gauge mild steel. You will be focused and able to work on your own initiative under minimal supervision. The role will involve installing steel projects for various commercial and residential clients on site, therefore it is important that you have a professional manner a good communication skills.

The installation team work the basic hours of 7.30am- 5pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available at a flat rate.

Structural Project Manager

The Role:

The role is for a Project Manager (with CAD capabilities). We are expanding as a company working on a variety of projects.
Our current building projects cover sectors such as commercial, education, health, rail, government and design.

Into this team are recruiting a highly motivated Project Manager to initially work under the guidance of the company director and produce high quality drawings to tight deadlines. A good knowledge of Structural Steel is required, strong communication skills in English is essential.

As an experienced CAD technician, it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate:

Solid experience in a similar post
A good knowledge of steel details
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2012
Confident in the use of Office applications
Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
Experience of working with other design packages would be a bonus.
