Metal Electric Gates

Sliding Gates
If you are restricted for opening space or require a higher level of security then perhaps consider a sliding gate option. Available with a track or a trackless cantilever system, sliding gates can either be constructed from metal, wood or a combination of the two. We can even design and manufacture your sliding gates to look like a pair of gates.
Cantilever Sliding Gates are the most popular of our sliding gates. Our sliding gates are made to measure and manufactured in house with no restriction to the length or height. Without the need of an unsightly track in the floor the unique cantilever system delivers maximum security whist maintaining an elegant design.

Secure Electric Gates
For commercial gates, design may not be as important as security, we can help with the design of secure gates including various anti-intruder type devices complete with Keypad, Intercom and Remote Controlled Access.
As with all our projects, large or small, we will provide you with a full site visit to comprehensively measure for your requirements, discuss the design you have in mind, prior to fabrication and provide full workshop drawings for your approval so you will have an idea of what the finished gate will look like prior to installation.
Stroke The stroke of the motor is more important than the power. If you put a 280 - 310 mm stroke motor on gates with a large 3m wing, it will open too fast, and trip off too easily. On the other hand - If you put a 380 - 410 mm stroke motor on gates with a smaller 2 - 2.5m wing it will open slower.
Weight All our electric gates are supplied with motors which are designed to power a specified maximum weight. We provide electric gates to cover all gate loads, from a 3.5m five bar wooden estate gate to a large industrial gates. Our design and installation team are experts and have tried and tested all gate motors on various gates and specifications.
Power All gates fitted are on hinges. The power required to open and close the gate is as important as the safety mechanism that will trip off if it hits an obstruction.
